Is GMail becoming the New Portal?

With the ability to easily manage multiple e-mails accounts, user-friendly labels and, most recently, the launch of a to-do list, GMail’s is becoming more useful and valuable.

For Twitter users, GMail’s utility took a major step forward with TwitterGadget, which lets you set up a widget within GMail to display your Twitter stream.

TwitterGadget uses Google Labs to install itself into GMail. For anyone who’s an enthusiastic user of GMail and Twiter, TwitterGadget is well worth checking out.
