Blackberry Users Need Some Love

According to TwitStat, which provides real-time Twitter analytics, Blackberry users are among the most enthusiastic in terms of the number of messages they post/day.

That’s impressive, particularly given the dearth of high-quality Twitter services for the Blackberry. Right now, Twitterberry is probably the most popular but it’s far being universally loved. Another interesting players is Tiny Twitter, which has been getting some good reviews.

It begs the question why there’s a lack of great Twitter applications for the Blackberry at a time when Twitter applications for the iPhone are being released fast and furious.

Anyone who has tried a Blackberry and an iPhone knows that the Blackberry’s QWERTY keyboard makes it very Twitter-friendly, and that Blackberry users are already trained to furiously write short messaging – making them a fertile audience for mobile Twitter usage.

    I was the twitterberry app and really liking its interface. The tinytwitter looks too cluttered for me.
