While Twitter continues to mull over its plans to eventually make money, the community is busy filling holes in the ecosystem.
Case in point is Twitdom, which has launched with the goal “to provide a consolidated view of all the applications developed for the Twitter ecosystem”.
Before anyone becomes too excited, Twitdom has only 63 Twitter services within its database, and the site’s navigation leaves much to be desired.
That said, Twitdom and Anuj Seth should receive kudos for putting the spotlight on the need for a user-friendly and extensive directory that helps make Twitter more useful depending on your personal or professional needs.
As far as I can tell, there’s still a huge opportunity for someone to create a kick-ass directory. Anyone game out there other than Anuj?

Funny, I bought "tweetngrow.com" with this idea in mind. Competition is good, though
Wow its a great site …thanks for sharing
Alan was right, the navigation was broken for http://EverythingTwitter.comand it was fixed today. The theme reverted and removed the category view from the right. Thanks for pointing the site out, I was lucky to get hooked up with the group running it. We are over 200 tools/sites now and adding everyday. Let me know if we miss a good one and I will pass it on
Hey Mark. I bought twittercatalog.com/.net, with the intention of doing exactly that, but my friends beat me to it with http://everythingtwitter.com/,which has almost every Twitter related thing in the world listed. It does need better navigation, like a faceted directory of tool type (web client, desktop client, search tool, friend/follow tool, etc) but check it out.
Mark, I think a directory requires great analysis of each tool to go with it. That is why I rely on your posts here on this blog. You've become my Twitter filter due to your analysis and trust.
As such, the best place to create a directory is probably right here. It would be a perfect complement to your posts.

George
