BackType, which has emerged as a valuable way to find comments within the blogosphere, has unveiled two new products, including one that lets you search links within Twitter.
BackTweets offers the ability to search for keywords within links contained in Twitter posts, including links that have been shortened.
For example, if you were interested in the Toronto Maple Leafs, a search on BackTweet would generate a list of Twitter posts that contained links featuring the hockey team. It’s a useful – and free – tool for anyone looking to track or monitor brands or products.
“Over a million links are tweeted per day, often obfuscated by URL shorteners with no way for publishers to see who’s talking about their content,” Christopher Golda, BackType’s founder said. “It’s a common problem for companies too — we had no idea how many people were tweeting comments from BackType.”
More: TechCrunch has more details about BackTweet, as well as BackType receiving $300,000 in seed capital from True Ventures.

It is amazing how many companies related to Twitter are starting up now.
Thanks for the post,

Similar concept available here: http://linksfor.us/ but it searches across more than just Twitter.
