Tim O’Reilly has built a high-tech publishing and research empire by recognizing key trends (e.g. Web 2.0) and being opportunistic in serving the needs of people interested in them.
A good example is Twitter, a market where O’Reilly has been active and engaged. The latest Twitter “product” is “The Twitter Book”, which O’Reilly has written with Sarah Milstein. Here’s the bubbly blurb:
