One of the more interesting angles within the relationship between Twitter and blogs is how people are using Twitter to promote new blog posts.
It’s a great way to highlight blog posts, although it can become annoying if you operate a blog that generates multiple blog posts a day.
The way that I promote new blogs posts on Twitter is through Twitterfeed. It’s a one-man service in which you provide your blog’s RSS feed(s). To date, I’ve had no problems using Twitterfeed but I do wonder what would happen if Twitterfeed suddenly disappeared one day.
If you don’t want to depend on a third-party service to do RSS to Twitter, you can also use a WordPress plug-in such as WordTwit. It’s developed by BraveNewCode, which consists of two Canadians – Dale Mugford and Duane Storey.
BraveNewCode also developed WPtouch for the iPhone, which makes your WordPress blog iPhone-friendly.
