Who Wants to Work for Twitter?

Last week, one of the Twitter boys was talking about the company’s plans to double its workforce to 90 employees by year-end, which explains what the company is doing with all that venture capital.

So, if you’re interested in working for Twitter, there seems to be a few openings, particularly if you’re a geek. They include:

Operations (Network) Engineer – Intern San Francisco, CA Technical Operations

Operations Engineer – Search San Francisco, CA Technical Operations

Operations Engineer/Unix System Administrator San Francisco, CA Technical Operations

Spam Support San Francisco, CA Support

Product Manager San Francisco, CA Product

Software Engineer – Front-End San Francisco, CA Engineering

Software Engineer – Platform/APIs San Francisco, CA Engineering

Software Engineer – Ruby on Rails San Francisco, CA Engineering

Software Engineer – Search San Francisco, CA Engineering

Software Engineer – Security San Francisco, CA Engineering

Software Engineer – Systems San Francisco, CA Engineering

Software Engineer – Systems Spam San Francisco, CA Engineering

Director, Strategic Web Partnerships San Francisco, CA Business Development

Now, if I was tempted to work at Twitter, the strategic partnerships position strikes me as a fascinating opportunity to be part of Twitter’s evolution into a viable business.
