Twitter: A Dictionary Definition

You know something has really made it when dictionaries start to add it.

Case in point is Twitter, which will be listed in the 30th edition of the Collins English Dictionary.

Twitter is defined as both a noun – “a website where people can post short messages about their current activities” and a verb – “to write short messages on the Twitter website”.
