Are You Addicted to Twitter?

Are you addicted to Twitter?

Chances are if you’re reading this blog, you’re enthusiastic about Twitter, if not a hard-core user.

If you’re interested in seeing whether or not you’re a Twitter Addict, take this quiz compliments of The Oatmeal.

Among the highlights – or lowlights, depending on how you want to look at it – are key questions are whether you have ever used Twitter while on the toilet, or used Twitter to talk about food while you’re eating it.

Personally, the answers to the above are “No” and “No”, which led to a Twitter addiction score of 54%.

I am 80% addicted to Twitter – and I'm not surprised my score is that high! It's hard not to get caught up in the wonderful world of Twitter – to try out new apps (both on my Mac and on my BlackBerry), to Tweet about food (since it's one of my favourite things), to try to convince people of the virtues of Twitter, and to engage in conversations on Twitter daily. And I can honestly say I've met more people in real life in Toronto through Twitter than I can count!

Actually, if you do the survey, then you are pretty much addicted to Twitter. By-the-way, I'm 48% addicted to twitter.

That's an excellent point, Chris. :) I guess it's just a matter of how addicted you are!

As unemployed it passes a few odd hours of dipping in & out of Twitter – become interested in their authorised accounts – mainly for US celebrity users.
Just taken test 38% – hold the meds.
