Twitter’s Growth Rebounds in May

For anyone who thought the Twitter bandwagon had ground to a halt, Compete.com reported that the number of unique visitors in the U.S. in May climbed by about 16.5% to 22.9 million.

As Mashable points out, it will interesting to see Twitter’s growth in June and July given the buzz surrounding news such as Michael Jackson’s death and Sarah Palin’s resignation as governor of Alaska, which attracted a lot of attention and a tremendous amount of coverage on Twitter.
