Tweetdeck Raises $3.2-million

Tweetdeck, the most popular Twitter publishing tool with about 20% market share, has raised $3.2 million in venture capital, according to TechCrunch. Tweetdeck recently launched an iPhone app as well as improvements to its AIR-powered desktop client, including the ability to post updates to multiple Twitter accounts and Facebook.

With some of the new financing, it would great to see Tweetdeck add more functionality so you could see a Twitter stream for multiple accounts as opposed to just being to update them.

It will also be interesting to see if Tweetdeck can come up with a way to monetize its software; perhaps creating white-label versions for businesses.
