Tweepi: Manage Your Friends & Followers

There are lots of Twitter tools that let you manage your friends and followers but Tweepi hopes to stand out from the crowd by offering statistics so users can make more informed decisions.

Tweep offers tools to remove people who aren’t following you, follow people who are following you, and manage your followers. The stats part of Tweepi provides information about a person’s location, the number of followers/friends, their friend-follow ratio, and number of Tweets they’ve made in the past week.

A particularly useful feature is a way to apply different filters to separate friends/followers:

But the most valuable tool is “Geeky Follow”, which provides information on someone you might want to follow. Geeky Follow offers the person’s bio, number of followers/friends, total number of updates, and information about all the people they’re following. The only thing Tweepi doesn’t do is someone’s recent Tweets. But for anyone selective about who they follow, Geeky Follow makes it worth using Tweepi.

If you’re in the market for a Twitter follow/friends management tool, Tweepi is definitely worth checking out. If the service has a major shortcoming, it’s the ability to flush followers who are clearly spammers. Then again, there are tools such as TweetBlocker that do that job really well.

    I love Tweepi and was one of it's first users, but it doesn't seem to work anymore. : {
