But it appears that Twitter may be getting involved in developing new products with the launch soon of Twitter Labs. According to Britt Selvitelle, TWitter’s user experience and front end engineering lead, the company could get directly involved in creating new services – putting in competition with external developers.
Selvitelle talked about Twitter Labs at the Future of Web Apps conference London today. CNet reported that he did not provide any details about what Twitter Labs would be doing.
