What’s Happening? Huh?

The oh-so-mysterious Twitter threw everyone a strange curveball tonight with some big news:

It’s changing it’s tagline from “What are you doing?” to “What’s happening?”

In a blog post, Biz Stone said:

Twitter helps you share and discover what’s happening now among all the things, people, and events you care about. “What are you doing?” isn’t the right question anymore—starting today, we’ve shortened it by two characters. Twitter now asks, “What’s happening?”

It’s a small change but figure a signature tag line such as “What are you doing?” would escape being changed. I guess Common Craft is going to update this video:
