Although there’s speculation that Twitter will be offering analytics services soon, there are many choices for stats-junkies looking for information and data about their Twitter activity, friends and followers.
One of the more user-friendly choices is Tweeb, an application for the iPhone and iPod Touch that provides a snapshot of what’s happening for a variety of metrics.
The summary page shows:
- how many tweets you’ve made a on particular day, as well as the average number of tweets you make.
- The number of followers you have, and how that total has climbed or declined.
- How many times links within tweets have been retweeted
- How many times links within your tweets have been clicked on
A personal view shows your bio information, recent tweets, who you’re following, as well as the ability to post a tweet.
You can also see new followers, their bios and recent tweets, and the option to follow back or block.
A Buzz section shows any mentions and retweets, and a Clicks section shows how many time a link has been clicked on.
All in all, Tweeb is a solid, user-friendly mini-analytics tool for anyone who wants to know more about their Twitter account. It can be purchased for $1.99 in the iTunes stores, which makes it’s a easy purchase for Twitter junkies.
