There are lots and lots of search tools for Twitter, including Twitter’s own search.twitter.com. Some of my favorites includes Twazzler and Scoopler.
Another interesting search player is Searchtastic, which offers a nice look and feel and some interesting twists.
You can do searches based on keywords. For example, here’s one for “social media monitoring”"

Searchtastic also lets you do a search query for results from the people that you follow, including multiple entries for particular people goes back several months. Here are the results from the people that I follow:.

Finally, you can do searches and get results that include expanded URLs rather than ones that use URL shorteners such as bit.ly. This is a nice way to quickly see the Web sites that people are inserted into tweets.

All in all, Seachtastic is a very solid search tool with some very useful features. It’s definitely a tool that I will add to my Twitter search portfolio.
