Google’s New Twitter Follower Tool

I stumbled across a new addition from GoogleLabs with the very uncool name – Find people to follow. Despite the bad name, it’s an interesting way to find new people to follow, as well as see people who are similar to yourself.

To start, you simply enter a Twitter user name:

Find people to follow then generates two lists – Tweeps you might like and Tweeps with similar followers. To follow someone, just click on the blue graphic below their latest tweet.

Bottom line: A simple yet useful tool that really makes you wonder why Twitter has yet to introduce something similar. Who knows, maybe the new Twitter (the one with a business model) will move into the space by buying someone.
