Twitter’s live stream is a lot like a parade: It keeps on moving so if you step away to do something else (work, play, eat, etc.), the parade rolls on without you. Not that this is a bad thing but it does provide good opportunities to create another way to consume Twitter that doesn’t depend on a live stream.
A new and interesting take on Twitter consumption is paper.li’s Daily on Twitter, which presents your live stream as an online newspaper. Daily on Twitter features different sections depending on what your friends are tweeting about, photos and popular trends (e.g. Facebook’s F8 conference).
