Twitter to Launch Embeddable Tweets

As tweets are increasingly cited and quoted, it makes complete sense that Twitter is introducing a new tool that will make it easy to embed a tweet into a Web site or blog post – much like a YouTube video or Google Map or can be embedded.

It’s a smart move because it will give Twitter with more branding opportunities, as well as a way to drive traffic to Twitter.com.

Here’s what an embedded tweet will look like:
