Create an RSS Feed for Twitter Favorites

The good thing about Twitter is the steady stream of new ideas, thoughts, content and online suggestions served up by other people. The bad thing is it can be difficult to keep up.

A solution is using Twitter’s “favorite” feature as a way to bookmark items that can be viewed later.

One of the challenges, however, is Twitter doesn’t make it easy to view or search all of your favorites, especially if the tool is used on a regular basis. So, what do you do?

An interesting approach is creating an RSS feed for your favorites. While this is something Twitter provides information about, it’s easy to do.

Just use http://twitter.com/favorites/[insert_your_ID_here].rss, and insert your username (e.g. markevans) into the bold section. If you use Google Reader, you can use the URL to add a new subscription.
