BackTweets: Tracking Twitter Links

A key part of using Twitter is including links to interesting content and Web sites. For people providing or tracking these links, it’s always interesting to see how much attention to they receive.

A simple tool to see how many tweets include a specific links is BackTweets. Just provide the URL, click on “search”, and BackTweet shows all the tweets that have included the link.

There is not a lot of statistical information so it is difficult to tell the number of tweets related to a particular URL. This feature could be part of a BackTweets Pro, which will be launched soon.

Hat tip to the CommsCorner for putting BackTweets into the spotlight.
