A few months ago, Twitter made a big deal of companies that used “Twitter” within their corporate names and URLs. One of its targets was the domain “twittersearch.com”, which saw it file a case with the World Intellectual Property Organization.
According to Fusible, Twitter now controls “twittersearch.com” based on Whois information. It now begs the question about how many other targets Twitter may have. Fusible suggests “searchtwitter.com” may be next on the hit list.
