Interesting move by Twitter to hire Dick Costolo as its new COO, according to TechCrunch. Costolo was the co-founder and CEO with FeedBurner before it was acquired by Google for $100-million.

Google Embraces Twitter

All Twitter, All the Time. Google has embraced Twitter in a huge way when you consider how many Twitter accounts – 44, to be exact it now uses. Update: VentureBeat wonders why Google just doesn’t buy Twitter if it’s so excited about using it. Good question.

Twitter Search Results on Google

Given all the talk recently about how Twitter could poise a threat to Google’s search dominance, this post by MT-Hacks caught my attention as it describes a Greasemonkey user script that displays the most recent 5 tweets for a Google search query on the top of the Google search page.
